TREAT-NMD
Advancing diagnosis, care and treatment for people with neuromuscular diseases around the world
TREAT-NMD® is internationally recognised for our key role in successfully addressing some of the major issues that face therapeutic development in neuromuscular diseases. We connect the global neuromuscular community, inform stakeholders with essential knowledge and resources, and advance the development of innovative treatments for neuromuscular conditions.
We are hosting the 8th TREAT-NMD® International Conference focusing on translational medicine in inherited neuromuscular diseases from the 10th – 12th February 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.
TREAT-NMD 2026 is not just a conference—it’s a vital, in-person gathering where patients, clinicians, researchers, industry, and regulators come together to tackle the biggest challenges in neuromuscular treatment development, diagnosis and care. Topics will include; disrupted clinical trial delivery, regulatory uncertainty, global access inequalities and shrinking public funding, we’ll tackle these themes with a holistic, solutions-driven approach and a patient centric and global focus.
Built around open discussion and real solution-building, this is where the future of rare disease care gets shaped.
The conference will attract around 300 delegates including academics, patients and carers, patient advocacy organisations and clinical specialists. Industry professionals will have the platform to:
• Network with partners on key issues and challenges in neuromuscular disease.
• Engage with panels of international experts who will inform, challenge and stimulate discussions.
• Acquire the latest updates on standards of care, outcome measures, patient registries and new developments including addressing trial site capacity.
We look forward to your participation in the 8th TREAT-NMD International Conference and hope that you will be able to support us in delivering a truly unique event for the neuromuscular community.
