The TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics (TACT) recently held its latest meeting at the beginning of May in Athens, Greece. TACT is a globally recognised, multidisciplinary panel of experts that convenes twice a year to review and provide independent guidance on key aspects of drug development in the neuromuscular field.
This spring, the committee gathered in Athens to evaluate several drug development programmes. These in-depth reviews covered scientific, regulatory, clinical, and commercial considerations, with the aim of supporting therapeutic developers in navigating the complex path to bringing effective treatments to patients. Each company that attended the meeting will receive a comprehensive advisory report from TACT, tailored to their programme’s specific needs and challenges.
Looking ahead, TACT is now accepting applications for its next meeting, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, USA, from November 7th to 9th, 2025. Only one review slot remains available, so we encourage interested companies to apply as soon as possible.
