Registration is now open for the first Symposium by the TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics (TACT).
TACTs aim is to give transparent and consistent guidance to the neuromuscular research community in order to advance the treatment of neuromuscular diseases more effectively. Each year the committee meets in the spring and the autumn, and a bespoke panel is assembled to review up to four applications for advice from organisations developing treatments in NMD.
To celebrate 15 years of successful TACT meetings we will run our very first symposium: “Developing Therapies in Rare Neuromuscular Disease,” on the 31st of October at the downtown Hyatt Regency in Boston. This symposium promises a day filled with insightful talks, reflecting on the wealth of knowledge gleaned over the past 15 years of TACT’s operation.
The symposium will feature a line-up of distinguished speakers who are at the forefront of rare neuromuscular disease research including Professor Annemieke Aartsma-Rus, Professor Pavel Balabanov and Dr. Kanneboyina Nagaraju. These experts will delve into critical topics including regulatory affairs, challenges in ultra-rare diseases, and key insights derived from the extensive experience of TACT.
The symposium is designed for industry professionals involved in developing treatments for rare neuromuscular diseases and offers a unique opportunity to learn from past mistakes, engage with leading experts, and gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the field. Attendees can expect interactive sessions and opportunities to pose questions to the speakers.
You can register for the event here and we have a limited number of early bird tickets currently available until the 30th of June.
We expect places to fill up fast, therefore registering early will ensure your place at this fantastic event.
