The TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics (TACT) is a globally recognised, multidisciplinary panel of experts that convenes several times a year to review and provide independent guidance on key aspects of drug development in the neuromuscular field.
Earlier this week a panel met virtually to discuss an application for advice, this in-depth review covered scientific, regulatory, clinical, and commercial considerations, with the aim of supporting the company in navigating the complex path to bringing effective treatments to patients. They will receive a comprehensive advisory report from TACT, tailored to their programme’s specific needs and challenges within the next 6 weeks.
Looking ahead, TACT is now accepting applications for its next meeting, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, USA, from November 7th to 9th, 2025. Only one review slot remains available, so we encourage interested companies to apply as soon as possible.
