TREAT-NMD is pleased to announce two upcoming Becker Education and Engagement Days taking place in September 2025, designed for individuals living with Becker muscular dystrophy, their families, and members of the wider neuromuscular community.
The events will provide an opportunity to hear from leading clinical and research experts, gain insights into the latest developments in BMD care and research, and connect with others in the Becker community. Attendance is free of charge, and financial support is available to assist with travel and accommodation costs.*
Event 1: Newcastle, United Kingdom

Who Should Attend
- Individuals diagnosed with Becker muscular dystrophy (aged 14 and over)
- Parents, carers, or family members supporting someone with BMD
- Clinicians, researchers, and representatives from industry with an interest in BMD
- Important Information
- For attendees aged 14–17, a parent or guardian must complete the registration form.
- Due to funding limitations, each patient may be accompanied by one carer or family member.
- Carers attending without a patient may register for one place only.
- Please do not make travel arrangements until your place has been confirmed and you have received the travel policy.
