Its has been brought to our attention that there has been a fraudulent event advertised on TREAT-NMD events page. At the time of posting, we thought this to be credible, however it has come to light that it was not a real event. Details within the events website are incorrect, claiming us to be a collaborator of this organisation which we are not. We deeply regret any confusion or concern this may have caused and would like to apologise for this oversight. Ensuring the safety and trust of our community is our top priority, and we are taking this matter very seriously.
As soon as we identified the issue, we removed the event from our website and began reviewing how this occurred. We are implementing additional measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
